Our 2019 calendar features Extended Color Gamut (ECG) seven-color process printing, cold foiling, UV gloss spot coating, DiamondGlitter specialty coating, multi-level embossing, debossing, and intricate die cutting.
It’s also our first to feature NFC smart tag technology, which enables brands to connect directly with consumers.

Creative Design
- Diamond's award-winning team developed another beautifully-decorated structural and ornamental piece
- Intricate die cutting around the palm trees and sun creates visual interest
- All cutting dies and counter plates were made in-house by the skillful hands of experienced craftspeople, ensuring the accuracy of each die
Expanded Color Gamut (ECG) Printing
- Seven-color process printing delivers the WOW factor
- ECG increases the color gamut by 20% and provides improvement in transitions between colors
- Our high-fidelity color system can also reproduce more than 90% of PMS colors
Specialty UV Coatings
- DiamondGlitter specialty coating creates stunning shimmering effects on the waves
- UV gloss spot coating on the fish and sand provides a striking contrast to the overall matte finish surrounding it
- Visual and tactile effects promote consumer interaction
Cold Foil
- Cold foil delivers shimmering metallic effects in the sun and rays
- Cold foil is a cost effective, in-line alternative to metallized polyester film or specialty foil board
- Overprinting offers a limitless palette of color options
- Precise registration is maintained between the foil and overprinted inks and coatings
Embossing
- Multi-level embossing was employed on the sun, palm trees, waves, fish, and seaweed
- Lends distinction and depth to a product

- Debossing was applied to the water pattern throughout, creating extraordinary dimension

- Easily integrated into folding cartons
Sustainable by Design
- The calendar was produced utilizing recyclable and recycled paperboards
- In-line converting techniques minimize material and energy costs associated with multiple runs or off-line production processes
- Paperboard components were manufactured using 100% clean, renewable wind energy and produced in a Zero Waste to Landfill (ZWL) facility
